The Foundational Leadership Cohort 4 Program successfully brought together emerging leaders from across the organization for a meaningful developmental experience at the Petronas Leadership Centre. The program focused on building core leadership competencies, strengthening collaboration, and cultivating a growth mindset through reflective learning and shared dialogue.

A key highlight of the program was the Batik Painting Activity, where participants were guided through the creative process of designing and painting their own batik pieces. This session served as both a cultural appreciation experience and a hands-on metaphor for leadership—emphasizing patience, creativity, adaptability, and the beauty of collective expression.

Through working side-by-side and supporting one another, the leaders discovered new perspectives on teamwork, communication, and personal leadership identity. The activity not only allowed space for creative expression, but also deepened relationships and built a stronger sense of community within the cohort.
